We sometimes pay a price for seeing some of the most amazing rare birds and wildlife and stunning scenery. These mountains and the miles and have been wearing and tearing on the van and us. We got to go by Mercedes in one of the world's largest cities, Sao Paulo to try to find a fuel filter and a air conditioning belt on our way to Paraty. After that we make a bad decision and things get intense as we end up on a road that is way too steep.
