Sometimes you just need to get away from it all. We had some frustrating times with the broken electric inverter. We made a decision to take a little road trip and get the van back on the road and up into the hidden bits of Ibarra, Ecuador. We find exploring the countryside up into these volcanic mountain valleys to be full of pleasant surprises and often very relaxing. Should we stay another day? Where should we eat?
