As we embark on the medical procedure to get Snow's knee replaced, we are living in a van in Colombia as medical tourists. In van life, things don't always go the way you expect. We have learned to roll with the punches, as we have been thrown many curve balls on this journey. With the next doctor's appointment in our sights, the pressure is certainly mounting. From trying to find a place to park for the night, to navigating the crazy Colombian traffic, to deciding on the right doctor to perform major surgery, and to finding an apartment in an international city in a foreign country where don't speak the native language, this is a huge challenge.
