Van Life Journey | Curt ends up in a Guerrilla Warfare Bunker? Some of the best travel tips come from the locals. In this case, our van life journey took us across El Salvador to the far north via the Ruta de Militar. Different from any experience we have had to date, we were escorted through an El Salvador Civil War museum by a former Guerrilla. This was an up-close feel of an actual Guerrilla encampment, a radio command center, and a history lesson as well. The journey doesn't end there as we searched out a camp spot in remote El Salvador only to accidentally stumble upon a beautiful natural hidden gem. We hope you enjoy it.
