In this van life journey episode, we take you on an Organic Garden and Coffee Tour and explore this amazing Finca (farm) in the heart of Nicaragua Coffee country. Fully equipped with an off-grid hotel and restaurant powered by solar and hydroelectric and wood, Finca Esperanza Verde features breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, coffee plantations, farms, and beautiful jungle cloud forests. We learned about the garden and of course the coffee and how all the nature works in balance through organic, polyculture, and other sustainable efforts. Composting, vermiculture, and soil regeneration are just a few of the fascinating topics discussed. And all this is done while preserving habitat for nature including sloths, monkeys, and numerous birds.
