VAN LIFE STYLE- IS IT WORTH IT? [Burning brakes, slippery roads, and dangerous bridges.] MOVING DAY! We left the sunny, palm tree-lined beach town to the cackle of the scarlet macaws circling above and embarked on another adventure looking for one of our absolute favorites. This journey took us from the coast, up through the clouds, and over the tallest peaks of Costa Rica revealing epic vistas. Surprisingly the route took an unexpected turn down a super steep winding road down into a hidden valley. Of course at that elevation, we were in the clouds, the roads were slippery and the brakes were overheating causing us to wonder if we would ever be able to get out of the valley. Unfortunately, our spot was closed or no longer there forcing us to figure it out. You will have to watch to see how it all worked out and so you can decide for yourself, "Is van life style worth it?"
